Role Description: Help support the environment and guests of Alpha by providing the welcome, hospitality, and services needed to run a great weekly Alpha meeting, hosting and facilitating table discussions, welcome and check-in, food, and tech.
Skills, Attributes, Knowledge:
- A welcoming and warm personality that helps people feel safe
- The ability to listen well in a group environment and manage group dynamics
- Comfortable with, or willing to learn, group facilitation
- Sensitive to the needs of people of various cultural backgrounds and language skills
- Embody a life of prayer, grounding in God’s Word, integrity, and discipleship to Jesus Christ
Time Commitment:
- Alpha runs for 11 weeks
- Weekly commitment of approximately 2.5-3.5 hours
- Alpha leader training sessions
- The Alpha weekend retreat
